Day 1 (Wednesday):

Arrival in St. Petersburg. Self-service transfer to the hotel. (Accommodation at the hotel from 14.00, so we recommend putting your belongings in the hotel's storage room).

11:00 Meeting with the guide.

Bus tour "Palace stories". A story about the magnificent palaces of the royal family, built in the 18th-19th centuries. The royal family in the 18th century was small, and by the 19th century it had grown so much that it numbered more than a hundred people, and all are descendants of Emperor Paul I and his wife Maria Feodorovna. Members of the imperial family lived in different ways: someone prepared conspiracies and wove intrigues, someone opened educational institutions and patronized the arts, but without exception, all built magnificent palaces for themselves.

For an additional payment - visit to the Mikhailovsky Palace (State Russian Museum) or Mikhailovsky Castle (Engineering Castle).

Day 2 (Thursday): Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.

Optionally and for an additional fee: Excursion to the Great Peterhof Palace.

Day 3 (Friday): Breakfast at the hotel.

Sightseeing bus tour of the city. Acquaintance with the main architectural ensembles and ceremonial embankments of the central part of St. Petersburg: Palace Square, Isaakievskaya Square, Nevsky Prospect, Admiralty, Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, Smolny, Sennaya Square and much more worthy of attention.

Excursion around the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress - a first-class military engineering structure of the first half of the 18th century, the first architectural ensemble of St. Petersburg and a place of imprisonment for political prisoners. The fortress is the oldest building in the city. The date of the foundation of the fortress is considered the date of the founding of the Northern capital, the beginning of the history of the city.

Day 4 (Saturday): Breakfast at the hotel.

Out-of-town excursion to Tsarskoe Selo (Pushkin). Travel excursion "Out-of-town imperial residences". Tsarskoe Selo is a place of inspiration for Russian poets, the main ceremonial summer residence of Russian emperors. You will visit the Catherine Palace, admire the Golden Suite and the famous Amber Room.

A walk to Catherine Park - one of the best examples of European gardening art with pavilions and memorials - monuments to the military victories of Russia: the Chesme and Morey columns, the Cahul obelisk and the Turkish bath, the Admiralty and the Pyramid and many others - all these are symbols of pride in the exploits of the Russian army different times.

Return to St. Petersburg from Pushkin.

Walking tour of the historical center of St. Petersburg with a visit to the Kazan Cathedral. The end of the program in the city center. Free time.

Day 5 (Sunday): Breakfast at the hotel. Release and delivery of numbers.
